About the Crystal Stone

Designed by STAR SURFER, Crystal Stone floating slider experiments with an inlay technique, adding a mother-of-pearl insert at the center of the outer shell. This enhances the sense of mystery and better expresses the product’s conceptual design.
In addition, significant weight reduction has been carried out inside the shell. As a result, although Steel Crystal Stone feels slightly heavier in hand due to the material itself, it does not cause excessive hand fatigue during extended use.
However, stainless steel on its own has a relatively high coefficient of friction and tends to attract sweat and other contaminants, which makes it difficult to maintain optimal performance over extended use. To address this, a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating was chosen to significantly mitigate these inherent drawbacks. DLC coatings are hard, durable, lubricious, and resistant to oil and dirt buildup.
Of course, as an external coating, DLC does carry a potential risk of wear or peeling. That said, after several months of testing, we found that under normal play conditions, the DLC shows virtually no noticeable wear or de-lamination, proving it to be highly reliable.
